Dear Friends and Clients,
For those of you who have not been in touch with us recently—we are still here! But we have changed our concept a bit—a reflection of the times. We are changing our name to L’Attitude Art. We are no longer a gallery open daily, but instead a showroom and office available by appointment. We’ve also changed our address. While we have changed how we work, our passion for unique and engaging art remains, and our commitment to serving our clients is as strong as ever.
Here’s how we got to this point:
We (as you) have had a challenging year with Covid. It helped us focus our goals for the business going forward. Then we got hit with a water main break in Boston that flooded the gallery forcing us to move and find a new location. Many pieces of art were damaged and we have spent a lot of time recovering costs for artists whose work was lost. At the same time, our health care facilities clients continued to build and remodel, and request more in the way of art and design services. We have been busy and as we jokingly say—never had a chance to be bored during the past months.
We have always loved the design and collection development work that we do with our health care facilities clients, as well as for residential and corporate clients and the pandemic has only furthered our focus on that love. And so we planned for that purposely in our move. We now have a showroom where we meet with clients by appointment and also via videoconference. We make on-site visits when needed, and compile options to present in various ways depending on your needs. It meets the safer requirements of today’s environment and also supports the larger projects that take much of our time.
We realized that the gallery was a wonderful way to showcase artists, but that now our specialty is in finding the right art from our vast array of artist resources for unique client needs. We have had contact with many of you over the past few months so hopefully this has shown you our commitment to being the best art consultants we can be for you regardless of the size of the project or art needed and irrespective of the challenges that these times present.
And during the past few years, we have also built new capabilities in large scale environmental graphics—large walls with commissioned photos or specialty in-house designed graphics. We are wrapping the entire walls of radiology rooms in uniquely designed graphics, including the MRI machine! We are changing health care and office environments and making them more engaging and approachable-and more uniquely interesting with large scale designs applied to windows and walls. You will see examples of some of these projects on this new website (with some tweaking still to come).
Through all of the change, some things have remained constant—artists available to create commissioned art that will meet specific requirements for your setting; our staff who work to provide wonderful options from our artists community; our ability to provide regional and culturally specific options that serve both residential and health care clients with diverse art of many types and styles; and our unique creative style that comes through for you in each project.
We have missed seeing many of you during these recent months and have valued those we have continued to serve, and now want to say how much we have appreciated the friends and clients we have had the opportunity to work with during our 20 years in business. It has been challenging, inspiring and gratifying—and we look forward to those opportunities continuing as we move ahead.
